How to properly dispose of a dead animal carcass?

How to properly dispose of a dead animal carcass?

Before disposing off the carcass, it must be ensured that the animal is properly dead. Inspect the animal from a close angle. Dealing with the dead animals and their remains is one of the most difficult things. You must ensure that you have gloves on while dealing with the disposal of the dead animals.

As soon as you come across the dead animal and the carcass, place it in the plastic bag and deal it tightly so that the remains of the carcass are not disposed off to any other person. Moreover if the animal has some disease or infection, then wrapping it in double layer of plastic bag is the best way.

Some of the common ways of disposing off the dead animal carcass is to bury, incinerate or render.

  • Incineration is used most commonly by people by it is an expensive method for disposing off the carcass.
  • Disposal below ground
  • Burying
  • Surface disposal
  • Composting
  • Incineration is only used when the carcass is properly diseased.
  • Burying the carcass is another way of dealing with the disposal of the animal remains.
  • If you opt for burying the carcass, then try to make a 4 feet deep hole in the ground and then bury it there.
  • Once buried, try covering the carcass with the lime so that the scavengers do not uncover and consume them, if they come across those remains.
  • On the other hand, if you are unable to dispose of the carcass of the same day, then put it in the freezer but wrapped in the plastic bag.

Always ensure that the correct way is used for the disposal of the dead animal’s remains, as the person may catch some infectious diseases from the remains of those animals.
